Blow Hole, Eaglehawk Neck

#5 of 7 in Outdoors in Eaglehawk Neck
Outdoor Activity
Carved by persistent waves and coastal winds millions of years ago, Blow Hole amazes visitors with the sheer power of its spray rising up to the height of 10 m (33 ft) at high tide. One of the many intriguing geological formations in the Tasman National Park, the blowhole is a popular and much-photographed tourist spot, so expect to see people queuing to get close to it. The intensity of the spray depends on the power of the waves and ocean swells. Plan my Eaglehawk Neck trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

  • One of many Nature‚Äôs artworks in Tasmania. Showing the power of gentle water over hard rocks patiently eroding it. It has all the time in the world.
