When stinging jellyfish populate the waters around Darwin, head for Wave Lagoon. Free of stingers and crocodiles, this wave-pool and swimming lagoon provide a safe place to cool off in the heat. The lagoon reaches a maximum depth of 2 m (6.5 ft), and the waves in the wave-pool climb to 1.7 m (5.6 ft). Catch the waves that suit you; wave intensity varies throughout each cycle. The wet season brings frequent storms from October to May, and lifeguards move visitors to sheltered areas when thunder and lighting are imminent.     My two kids both loved this waterpark, even though we had a great pool at our hotel. It was pretty dead the day we went, although it was still lots of fun, There is free parking for 2 or 3 hours in.....  more »

    Fabulous place to chill and have fun. Family-friendly, good shades and the waves last for 10 minutes and have a pass every 30 minutes. The price is really good too. 18$ four family members
