Driven by quality and a hands-on approach, Hollick Estates are made from three core vineyards. Neilson's Block, planted by Ian and Wendy in 1975, the nearby Wilgha vineyard, purchased in 1987 and the Wrattonbully Vineyeard developed in 1998, giving Hollick over 200 acres of vineyard in total. Eighty percent is planted to red varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese. The balance of the vineyards is planted to the white varieties of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

    My wife and I came here often when living in SA. We love Coonawarra. It’s a special place. The food, service and atmosphere at Hollick was always fantastic. You’ll never feel rushed and the view is wonderful. Such a special place. Sad that I have not been in so long.

    Had lunch on a weekday. Started with a beautiful kangaroo steak followed by fish of the day: pan-fried mulloway. Both dishes were prepared perfectly: simple but full of flavour. Waiter’s knowledge of food and wine was great and helpful, which certainly enhanced my experience there. Love to go back again.
