  • We've walked up Mount Dromedary/Gulaga before, previously in summer - much better in winter and with a little fog and drizzle. You start the walk at the former general store and walk about 1.5km...  more »
  • A very rewarding hike. When you reach the saddle there is a toilet, table and some signage there is also an unmarked track to some spectacular rock formations.  more »
  • Gulaga was probably the best walk I’ve been on, and I highly recommend it due to beautiful scenery and great views (where trees aren’t obstructing it). It is steep, for a fair bit of it, but it’s completely worth it. It’s also a very shady walk. By the way, when your done, stop at Tilba Tilba or Central Tilba for food. Remember that it’s an Aboriginal Sacred Site so respect it. IT’S MY COUNTRY TOO, YOU KNOW.
  • If you are a fan of walking up hills, beautiful scenery and leeches this is your place. If you just love hills and scenery, but are not a fan of leeches then maybe don't go straight after a rainy day p.s. hot tip, get a burger and beer from the dude at the bottom of the hill after your slog
