The park drops away from the main road, so you don’t get a true impression of how large this site is. Equally, there is a small sign that shows access to the peninsula, and it would be easy to drive..... more »

Had a picnic here with family. Very family friendly place with well looked after amenities. Coming here again soon for my son’s birthday party! more »

Beautiful view of the river. A nice quiet place for a picnic or a pleasant walk in the morning or evening. Both the people, birds and ducks get a real kick out of this place. Serene and well worth a visit.

Beautiful picnic spot, can be busy on public holidays but normally plenty of picnic tables and barbecues. Plenty of wildlife, birds and occasional Koalas. No dogs allowed, even on leash, so if you must take your pet then check the SEQ Water website as some lakes/dams do allow pets.
