  • An enjoyable walk up Mt Majura. Fairly quiet and not too far to the top. Less than 2 hours generally depending on your walking speed.
  • While it doesn't give you the views that Mt Ainslie has, it does give you two unique ways to reach the top and the views are still pretty good showing you another part of Canberra. It's also pretty cool seeing the planes flying into land below you. The Hackett Gate lets you walk to the top via the ridge of the mountain and the other lets you reach the top by a more direct route. It's also a bit less crowded than My Ainslie.
