Take a colorful walk through Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, noted for a huge variety of vibrant water lilies growing along a tranquil lagoon. Wooden walkways take visitors through a number of lush areas spread across this large park, which is home to over 100 species of birds. Bring a picnic and relax under a big tree, or enjoy an exciting ride on the steam-powered train, which winds its way around the gardens and along the lagoon. Arguably the park’s most notable feature is the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, celebrating the achievements of aviator Bert Hinkler, the first person to fly solo from England to Australia. This museum includes an exhibition hall with multimedia displays, as well as a flight simulator, theater, and five historic aircraft.     Well how beautiful is the gardens looking now after the floods. ..fantastic transformation. ..loved strolling through with our poodle the other day. ..just beautiful.

    Big area, there are a lot of wild creatures than what we've expected to see. Garden is a loop thing with different themes sit separately but not far from each other. You can fist drive and see then park and walk, plenty of onspot parkings. Clearly mapped area with detailed information about animals that you could encounter. Tips: bring a loaf of white bread, kids and animals will love you to death.
