Kanangra-Boyd National Park
The Kanangra-Boyd National Park is a protected national park that is located in the Central Tablelands region, west of the Southern Highlands and Macarthur regions, in New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 68660ha national park is situated approximately south-west of Sydney. and is contiguous with the Blue Mountains National Park and the Nattai National Park. The Kanangra-Boyd National Park is one of the eight protected areas that, in 2000, was inscribed to form part of the UNESCO World Heritagelisted Greater Blue Mountains Area. The Kanangra-Boyd National Park is the most southwesterly of the eight protected areas within the World Heritage Site. The national park forms part of the Great Dividing Range.
Notable features of the national park include the Thurat Spires, Kanangra Walls, Mount Colong, and three waterfall systems – the Kalang, the 225m twotiered drop Kanangara and the Morong falls. The park also features a series of karst landforms that can be explored by those with caving experience.

Beautiful view. The plateau walk to THAT photo-op and the dance floor cave is currently closed. The waterfall is cute, there's approx 400 steps down to it. more »

It's a 35 minute from Jenolan caves! Super attractive although not for the faint of heart as the hikes are tiring and the views are breathtaking!! great place to take your time and enjoy the outdoors. generally quiet no disturbances free to enjoy happily and quietly. beautiful birds too. So peaceful and tranquil

The best place to 4WD Beautiful national park with lots of walking tracks, look outs, waterfalls. Trees and Scenic views/ Well sorted camp ground with bathrooms and fire pits. Easily spend a long weekend here taking in all it has to offer
