Set some time aside for a picnic at Rosalind Park, a Victorian-style garden featuring a number of decorative statues and a large stone viaduct. The main entrance of the park is located on the intersection called Charing Cross, which was once a meeting point for two main city tram lines. This important road junction features a large statue of Queen Victoria and the ornate Alexandra Fountain, built in 1881. The park rises up toward Camp Hill, which includes a lookout tower, a popular spot for family photographs with the city’s skyline as background. Join a "Discovery Walk" through the sprawling park to enjoy its many green open spaces, lush trees, old gardens, fernery, and a historic conservatory.
