The trip was good and not much crowd because of the coronavirus restrictions. We booked online and the check-in was smooth; we were told our carriage letter during check-in and no ticket was given... more »

Am I too old to love trains? Absolutely not! What a great excursion and the lakes are beautiful. There is a picnic area, I guess now that my children are adults I was able to enjoy the atmosphere and appreciate its beauty a luxury one does not always have when you are running after children. It is so exciting that I will be taking my grandchildren soon. #puffingbilly

We had so much fun! Make sure you book well in advance because tickets sell fast. Loved how well kept are the trains and stations. It’s like stepping back in time. The whole ride to emerald lake was worth it. Beautiful scenery.
