    Lovely secluded beach, wish I got here earlier during my walk from The Spit to Manly but by the time I arrived it was sunset and getting cold. But the views here are stunning and an excellent option.....  more »

    Sydney Harbour offers so many picturesque and often secluded harbour beaches, and Forty Baskets is just one more. While it is not my own favourite it has lots to offer, especially for families...  more »

    Beautiful spot with little grass area, bbq and calm waters. Is passage of the Spit Bridge to Manly walk.

    Good size enclosure with small swell. Good for kids. Can be a little dirty during periods of rain of big swell. Short walk from carpark, accessible off the Manly scenic walk. BBQs by the beach available and a small kids play area with swings. Shade under huge Norfolk island Pines for the sunny days will keep you nice and cool :)
