  • A well-maintained beautiful place with fresh, crisp air. Didn't manage to catch sight of any roos, but the trip there was well worth it with the amazing views and beautiful surroundings. Truly a...  more »
  • You would have to be a real horse fan or super keen to do what we did. It was pouring rain! Didn't stop the entire time, yet they made the ride as good you can. It was the best trail ride my friend....  more »
  • I've been here about 6 or 7 times now since we moved to the area. Good value trail ride for beginners or experienced. Nice well looked after horses. Some quite forward moving. I'm a mature aged person who's been riding for a very long time, owned my own horses and ridden at a lot of trail riding places in Victoria. This suits me because I like to have a trot and canter but don't want to be on a horse for more than a couple of hours now and this is only 1-1/2 hour ride. Plenty of trotting and usually one good canter but you could sneak in a few more short ones especially if you get at the back of the ride and have a catch up canter as it's not totally nose to tail. You are allowed to pass other horses and don't have to ride in single file! Robyn will give instruction along the way so good for beginners and she's also reminded me of some bad habits I've gotten into over the years! Friendly accommodating staff. Nice easy tracks through bush.
  • I have ridden here about 10 times. The horses are fine, the staff are friendly & its run in a safe & organised fashion. You have an opportunity to trot a fair bit & there is the occasional canter. As others have said you can hold your horse back and canter to catch up. Its not the boring nose to tail walking exercise. Last year i rode a horse who was fairly forward moving & gradually realised i was leaning forward too much. I managed to slow him down with better posture & getting him on the bit. I ride horses in arenas on a weekly basis & trail rides offer a chance to socialise with my family over xmas. If you want to really enjoy riding formal lessons in an arena along with practice is the way to go. I would advise regular lessons if you want to enjoy riding.
