Known locally for excellent snorkeling, Mangel Halto Beach supports diverse marine life both inside the bay and in the coral's outer reaches. Snow white sands and beach huts face southeast, and a leafy network of mangroves hem in the bay that leads to the reef. More experienced snorkelers can head to the outer reef where octopuses, morays, and barracudas reside.     Such a cool spot to visit! We loved that you went down a ladder to go straight into the water! There’s not much of a beach, so you’d want a rental car to lock your stuff in while you’re swimming...  more »

    Rented a house right across the street and spent hours and hours and hours in the water swimming and snorkeling. The reef out past the yellow channel buoy is fantastic! It can be a bit murky close.....  more »

    This beach is a perfect hidden gem. There is lots of shade to rest and cabanas if you can snag one. The shallow areas have little crabs everywhere. The snorkeling was great too.

    Beautiful beach with shade and soft sandbanks. The water is also calmer compared to other beaches. A great hide away beach.
